The album is the last gift from the "Faces"; the internal tensions between Marriott and Lane had reached a peak during the Australian tour in January 1968, a tragicomic affair - with the Who and Paul Jones, former frontman of Manfred Mann. If you don't know anything about it and are interested, look for articles that are worth it - the pressure from three years at full throttle had exceeded (super)human limits ... they were still only twenty...
