The Band - It Makes No Difference

And now the last member of the Band has left us, Garth Hudson, the oldest of the group (87 years old). A true soul and glue of that unmatchable ensemble, holder of a legendary organ sound as well as a good saxophonist. I like to remember him in that role with one of his few moments in the spotlight in Scorsese's The Last Waltz, where he usually let his bandmates take center stage but held up the sound structure more discreetly. Long live Canada!!!

Through a friend who is a father, he calls the two Dickinson brothers and brings them from the barn to the garage…
