This album deserves a passing grade but nothing more.

Without the logo, this CD would have been a failure.

The review evaluates Morbid Angel's album Heretic as decent but not exceptional. It highlights strong opening tracks and solos showcasing technical skills, yet criticizes simplicity in riffs and overall impact. The album is recommended mainly for dedicated fans due to its mixed pacing and execution. Explore Morbid Angel's Heretic and decide if their legacy matches your metal expectations.

The new singer has an excellent voice, much more powerful and fuller than the very good Chris Barnes.

All in all, a very good concert and I recommend a listen even to those who don’t know the band.

Cannibal Corpse's Live Cannibalism is a standout live album showcasing many key tracks from their long career. The new vocalist, Corpsegrinder, delivers a fuller and more powerful voice compared to his predecessor, Chris Barnes. The band's instrumental skills create a chaotic yet powerful sonic experience. The album is highly recommended even for those unfamiliar with the band. Experience the raw power of Cannibal Corpse live—listen to Live Cannibalism now!

The screeching guitar of Scott Hull and the powerful and relentless fury of the magnificent Brian Harvey behind the drums will make you fall in love with this little war machine.

22 songs that have a good continuity and never tire after multiple listens.

Pig Destroyer's second album 'Prowler In The Yard' delivers relentless brutal death grind with powerful guitar riffs and drumming. Despite a three-member lineup and no bass, the album remains intense and engaging. Jr Hayes' aggressive vocals add raw energy, making it a recommended listen for genre fans and beyond. The album's 22 tracks maintain continuity and impact through repeated listens, earning a strong rating. Listen to Pig Destroyer's relentless 'Prowler In The Yard' and experience brutal death grind at its finest!

Pure, old-school grindcore is what these four guys play.

If you don’t know what you’re dealing with, it might be wise to give it more than one listen to understand the true potential of REGURGITATE.

Regurgitate's third album, Deviant, showcases pure old-school grindcore with raw intensity and creativity. Following the notable Carnivorous Erection, the band delivers 27 relentless tracks filled with screamed vocals and fast-paced brutality. The album demands multiple listens to fully appreciate its potential and skill. Not for faint-hearted listeners, Deviant is a strong recommendation for fans of extreme metal. Dive into the relentless grindcore fury of Regurgitate's Deviant—listen now and experience extreme metal at its rawest!

This is a real album played WELL, conceived WELL, produced WELL!

Reno Killerich on drums makes a difference (according to NAM, the world’s fastest) compared to many other bands.

Panzerchrist's 'Roomservice' is praised for its powerful, sharp, and well-executed death metal sound. The album showcases excellent musicianship, tight composition, and stellar drumming by Reno Killerich. The review highlights the intense atmosphere, especially through opening sound effects and notable tracks. The Metal Church cover stands out as exceptionally well done. Overall, it's a highly recommended album for metal enthusiasts. Listen to Panzerchrist's 'Roomservice' now and experience raw, powerful death metal at its finest!

The drums burst forth relentlessly, the guitars are compressed to the maximum, making the audio extremely heavy.

Chris Barnes sounds like a caveman! He maintains his extremely low growl throughout all nine intense songs.

Cannibal Corpse's second album, Butchered At Birth, demonstrates a significant evolution in their sound, featuring relentless drums, heavy guitar compression, and Chris Barnes' characteristic guttural vocals. The album delivers intense death metal with brutal lyrics focused on gore and dismemberment. Despite being early in their career, the band shows strong personality, technique, and commitment to their style. This release is a compact, powerful statement that pushes musical boundaries and appeals strongly to death metal fans. Dive into Butchered At Birth and experience the brutal intensity of Cannibal Corpse's death metal mastery!

Mudvayne, even though they are just starting out, have a style of their own.

'Death Blooms,' a masterpiece song of the entire album, a mix of vast technique, speed, and rage.

Mudvayne's debut album L.D. 50 proves the band’s technical prowess and distinctive style despite initial comparisons to Slipknot. Featuring jazzy rhythms and aggressive metal, the album shows a mature musicianship. Highlights include 'Death Blooms' and complex rhythmic songs. The vocalist’s powerful and melodic delivery complements solid instrumentation, especially the bassist’s skillful play. Though not a masterpiece yet, it’s a promising start worth multiple listens. Listen to Mudvayne's L.D. 50 and experience a unique, technical metal journey today!

The four guys play an aggressive death metal but with multiple grind influences.

Don’t worry because EXHUMED will return and when they do, they will be even more ruthless than before!

Exhumed’s third album Anatomy Is Destiny showcases consistent growth in skill while maintaining their signature aggressive death metal mixed with grindcore. The band delivers tight rhythms, intricate guitar work, and harsh vocals that complement the graphic medical-themed lyrics. Despite a familiar musical formula, the album stands out without becoming repetitive. Notably, the closing track surprises with subtle melodicity, promising even more ruthless returns in the future. Listen to Exhumed’s Anatomy Is Destiny and experience relentless death metal with dark, surgical precision!

The Mortician are a somewhat... 'strange' band!

I admire this band just for the fact that they keep going, playing their music in their own style without caring about anyone else.

Mortician's Darkest Day of Horror remains consistent with their signature death-grind style, featuring programmed drums at high speeds and horror-themed lyrics. The band's sound and approach have not evolved, maintaining a raw and brutal production. Fans of the band will appreciate this steadfast style, though it may not appeal to others. The review respects their dedication despite the lack of innovation. Dive into Mortician's relentless horror-filled death-grind and experience their unyielding brutal sound today!
