Alright then.

The line-up is nothing short of explosive... but I'm not convinced by the solo projects, I don't know why.

Well, I don't agree with the rating given to the review by most people: the review is well done, it certainly presents a somewhat original point of view, so to speak, but formally it is good.
As for the subject of the discussion, well, I find it simply annoying, with its posing as cool when in reality it’s ugly as hell, barely knows how to sing, and last but not least, writes songs that are pure garbage. I agree, another case of a human being: in the meantime, though, he's got girls lining up and doesn't need to work, how strange life is...

Maximum respect, but her blues don't excite me that much, at least as far as I remember; it's been a while since I've listened to it. I'm not familiar with this album; I'll make sure to listen to it as soon as possible.

Of course, I don't understand what you mean by lower tunings and Grunge chords... I mean, what would these Grunge chords be?

Yes, the review is good, but in my opinion, you should trim down the part dedicated to the description of the individual tracks, favoring an overall view. For heaven's sake, it's just my opinion, don't take it the way many do, especially since, I reiterate, the overall judgment of the review is positive. Otherwise, if someone takes offense, it's pointless for us to keep giving scores to the reviews (which in the end remains a fun game).
Dream Theater Octavarium

Dear objective reviewer, there's only one thing you’ve written 10 reviews for an album. An opinion is by its nature subjective; let’s not treat it like the Bible.
@VuFeRo-Rosso: It’s true that often we tend to condemn the latest album of a band by making ruthless comparisons with their past works. And that’s wrong because a band cannot maintain the same levels of excellence for 15 years: generally, the best comes at the beginning; then the greatness of a band lies in its ability to renew itself, to explore new paths, to expand its ideas. However, regarding Images And Words, I disagree: today it would certainly sound a bit anachronistic, but it is a masterpiece of music, truly exceptional. Octavarium is a great album, but certainly not on the same level as Images.

The review is very well done, clear and balanced, and also very well written. The judgment of the tracks is shareable, but I believe it ultimately comes down to personal taste. I really like this album a lot, even though, as you said, it doesn’t have the same compositional freshness as Images and Words (unreachable), but I find that comparison ruthless, considering we are talking about the summa of Prog-Metal. Moreover, Octavarium comes out, if I’m not mistaken, 14 years later, and I would invite you to reflect on the fact that few bands can boast such longevity, accompanied by works that are still of high quality, even though, as is normal, the inspiration of the early albums is unreachable. Personally, I am now looking forward to their next album.
Francesco Guccini Guccini Live Collection
Voto:
Anyway, I don't think it's him who chooses either the tracks to include or the title of a compilation: compilations are purely commercial operations, orchestrated by record labels. As for the overall judgment of the singer-songwriter, I don't know if he is tired or not; he does indeed space out both albums and concerts, so I really believe he is on the verge of shutting down. The review is too polemical.

For me, Guccini's songs have been ennobled. With that voice, he would really be better off having others sing the (beautiful) songs he writes.
