"The feathered serpent flies high in the sky, a sweet lullaby spreads in the air, speaking of smoke of unconsciousness and of dreams, it's a flute playing... Everyone in the world has heard it, men, women, boys, and children unknowingly follow that sweet call, that scent of ancient and unreal things... but the feathered serpent has another face, the fierce one of a ruthless condor."
"Remember Chico", a beautiful song with very joyful and lively music, instead talks about a very important theme: the disappearance of forests, and therefore of life, dedicated to Chico Mendes. "Dammi un bacio" (Dam un bes), sung in the Reggiano dialect and dedicated to the painter Antonio Ligabue. And here we come to one of my favorite songs: "There's a King", tells the story of a king who neither wants to see nor hear, distant from the cries for help of his people, a true invitation to the world's powerful.
Every song has something we can identify with: from maladjustment ("Greet the Stars for Me") to our impotence ("Someone Like Us"), it's truly awful when we want to change the world, but reality shows us very different things, that physically we are "impotent" and can do nothing but continue to hope and fight not to change ourselves ("But Not Us"!).
"Someone Like Us" is a song dedicated to the boy from Tiananmen. "What a Movie Life Is" is a real hymn to the latter, many define it as Augusto's testament, where his great desire to live is described.
The album concludes with two sweet tracks, like a rest: "Blame the Moon" and "Walk, Walk" with rather touching and profound verses. You can really identify with the songs, this is because the message that is left is directed to everyone and everyone can embrace it, written by artists like us, evaluated by PEOPLE LIKE US.

Augusto’s Nomadi are like fine wine, the more time passes, the better they age.
We are a bit like storytellers, our task is to tell stories, always hoping someone wants to listen to them.
