Vasco Rossi Il Mondo Che Vorrei
Voto:
His fall on the stage of Caserta is actually beyond physical, also professional and human. Those very few things that are (still) salvaged are the contributions of Gaetano Curreri; for the rest, it’s pure crap.
The Cure 4:13 Dream
Voto:
I used to be a fan of The Cure... but for me, they stopped at "Wish"; after that, they couldn't tell me anything until this work, which seems like a tired and overused formula that has neither managed to renew itself nor reach the stature of works like "Disintegration." Could it be that the character that Mr. Smith has been carrying on for thirty years has become a bit cumbersome?
Rino Gaetano E Io Ci Sto

Great telespalla, I really like your review. You highlighted the fact that Rino, during that time, was in a bit of a closed phase, almost searching for a motivation to move forward. The album features songs that showcase his journey as an artist (Scusa Mary) and as a man, as if he’s summarizing the situation to embark on new ideas "more fresh and more narrated" (Ping Pong). However, what I appreciate most is his honesty; Rino never pretended, even in that slight misstep which was "Resta vile...". That smile of Rino on the cover gave hope for a new desire to reclaim his spaces and his way of being an artist… what a shame, he left us too soon and, in my opinion, no one has been able to play with music and lyrics in the same way after him, with the same freshness of the songs and that apparent lightness that makes us still appreciate him fully.
Mark Knopfler Get Lucky

Look Donnie, you can be quite convincing, you know? I've always been attached to the work with Dire Straits, especially the early period (considering that "Making Movies" was one of the first albums I bought). Then I never particularly digested the solo works, slow, a bit sugary, and that Strat sound I was missing. But you've sparked a nice curiosity in me, you know?
Led Zeppelin Phisical Graffiti
Voto:
Too many words about this work are unnecessary in my opinion... let's leave space for the music... let it reach the heart and ears of those who want it...
But then what is the purpose of this review? It sounds like it was written by a teenager, adds nothing new, superficial and meaningless... please stop writing...
Deep Purple Come Taste The Band

Great review, rich in content and thoughtful. Yes, you did go on a bit, but when you mentioned that it's your first review, I was surprised; I thought you had written a thousand others.

A review that says little or nothing, my thirteen-year-old niece writes better.
Zen Circus Andate Tutti Affanculo

I liked the album right away, instinctively. "Canzone di Natale" is sooo entertaining, the way it describes annoying relatives is hilarious, along with the phone call. "Gente di merda" is a punch in the stomach... and how can you not love phrases like... "and everyone is important
and everyone is someone
a billion artists
and in the fields now no one"
Alberta Cross Broken Side of Time
Voto:
Yes, I admit I made a bit of a mess in the end. I wanted to say that Alberta Cross, together with established acts like the Racounters or the Kings of Leon, are the bridge that connects the high tradition with new inspirations that give rock, now weakened by too many glitter and sequins in a mainstream sauce, new life.
Pearl Jam Backspacer

In my opinion, the work is sufficient, with some good ideas in the more energetic tracks, a few that remind me of Counting Crows, and some ballads that wouldn't have fit on "Into the Wild," but nothing more to add. I can't tell if this is intentional or just a bit of a lack of inspiration or life pulling you in a thousand other directions and commitments. A band that, in my opinion, shines more in live performances, much like Springsteen. And the fact that O'Brien is at the helm, just like with the boss, must mean something, right?
