Gli Zen Circus hate us and don't mince words to say what they think through the desecrating songwriting of Andrea Appino, who accuses us of being shitty people, selfish, and rightly sends us to hell. All this through mature lyrics in their dramatic and sarcastic daily life, highlighting a humor that makes us reflect. It can only bring a smile with "Canzone Di Natale", where the abstinent tries to trade grandma's gift to get stuff from the trusty dealer; a semi-serious theme in the atmosphere of a typical Christmas carol.

The Pisan band plays a rock with overseas nuances, using very direct lyrics that relate closely to our people, as in "L'Egoista", "Gente Di Merda" and "Andate Tutti Affanculo", where they couldn't have proclaimed their thoughts more clearly; the title track is indie pop with fairy-tale tones, with choruses, melancholic harmonica, and absorbed arpeggio, concluding with a final dialogue between the sacred and the profane, probably taken from some movie. Also "Vecchi Senza Esperienza" presents itself as an older protest strumming; Nada's interpretation in "Vuoti A Perdere" is also surprising, slipping into the role of the rocker in a leather jacket. Tracks that wink to American indie rock are "It's Paradise", a rock carousel, with a macabre chorus that crowns a punk-folk ballad and a long instrumental finale, then "We Just Wanna Live", a celestial country rock nursery rhyme with anti-clerical tones, and "Amico Mio", Bubola-style blues rock with a carefree and rhythmic chorus. Davide Toffolo couldn't miss being a guest in "Ragazza Eroina", a song with typical finishes of Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti.

This is their protest...go to hell...and the defenseless Italians take the spade in the kidneys.
