Touching review. You made my throat tight (that's a compliment, by the way!). ;-) As for the reunion, I see it as bleak. These nostalgia operations almost always end up being forgettable because Corgan's inspiration ran out long ago. In my opinion, the SP created the best mainstream rock of the 90s. They have already said everything they needed to say. The early 90s were their golden age: this Pisces Iscariot is there to prove it. After two excellent LPs, releasing a collection of B-sides of this (good) level is not something everyone can do. (Post)adolescence is over for them too, unfortunately... and it's been over for quite a while... I fear that the possibility of once again being able to "smell young spirit" from their next album belongs to the realm of dreams. In 2007...
