mmm...Zaratustra, I don't agree that Desertshore is a monotonous and repetitive album...Sure, Nico's vocal tone is icy, almost neutral, impenetrable, but in just 29 minutes, arrangements and melodies are showcased that span at least 6 centuries of music history (from the Middle Ages to today) and 4 continents (from Europe to Asia)...It's a repetition that is only apparent, in my opinion...
