Butthole Surfers Psychic... Powerless... Another Man's Sac
Voto:
If I'm not mistaken, the Pain Teens are electronic... Am I wrong? And there must be a girl singing... Am I wrong again?? :-)

well...in my opinion "krystallina" is nothing more than one of the many fakes of punisher...I'll say it here, I'll deny it here...Cheers. :-)

Another priceless blow from Krystal to the horrors of our musical-television spectacle...
Blue Cheer Vincebus Eruptum
Voto:
The Melvins of the 60s... Stephens didn't just play the guitar: he tortured it... Hendrixian to the core, but more abrasive... Yes, 90s stoner rock owes a lot to this trio from Frisco, as trite in composition as it is futuristic in execution... And what a voice! I can believe that back then nobody paid them any mind, with that raw music (three instruments, limited guitar overdubs: practically live music...), visceral, amateurish, garage... Here, Blue Cheer found an effective compromise between acid-rock, blues-rock, and garage-rock... Great review even if I disagree on the "rhythmic" issue: bass and drums, on this record, are subdued and not powerful at all (probably due to the terrible recording or maybe, intentionally, to put the monstrous distortions of the six-string front and center...).
Rapeman Two Nuns And A Pack Mule
Voto:
A thank you also to Kosmo, Odra, and Lewis... Odradek, recover this disc immediately because it really deserves it... The Rapeman are the least known experience of Albini's career, but perhaps the most valuable...
Naked Raygun Jettison

No problem! :-))) Great Agent Orange, I discovered them about a month ago, but I never associated them with Raygun... Agent Orange mixed punk, new wave, power-pop, and surf... And it’s really the surf component (perhaps the distinctive trait of the Agents) that is completely absent in Raygun... Moreover, Raygun seem more powerful, more solid... Anyway, both are great! (but Raygun a notch above...)

I've only seen The General by Keaton...the train sequence is genius!

Hi there, since I have nothing else to do at the moment, I’m making my ranking of Chaplin's films: 1) Modern Times; 2) Limelight; 3) The Kid; 4) The Gold Rush; 5) City Lights; 6) Monsieur Verdoux; 7) A Woman of Paris; 8) The Great Dictator; 9) A King in New York. All masterpieces, except for the last one (which, however, is brilliant at times).

I’m listening to it right now... I thought it was entirely instrumental, but every now and then a guy pops up singing... I expected them to be more or less like this anyway... they remind me a lot of Dirty Three... The review is beautiful; the rating for the album is obviously postponed...
