don, bought today. I haven't put it on yet because I'm obsessed with the Killing Joke, actually it's their fault that your words about the j.a. came to mind. :)

Apart from my old musings on production, I think of certain phrases from Exile "you'll never see the water flowing" and that crescendo of sounds... arid, and honestly sometimes I'm terrified of it, because I fear it, I feel it coming true. This is post-nuclear music. It may be more pop than the earlier stuff, but it hasn't lost any of its usual melancholic-devastating visionary charge. Man no longer exists.

if it's free, I'll download it anyway. at most I'll cash it in like I did with the previews of year zero. And anyway, I find pretty hate machine a bit too simple, even though it's nice. I'm stuck there.

I'm 30 for the Killing Joke, and just imagine if they play the first two albums, I think we're gonna tear it all down :))

I had the one from 2005 in my hands, it seemed a bit too... beautiful right away, easy. Just to be safe, I postponed it. If the first ones are much messier, then I'll start with those :)

By the way, today I heard the Mercury Rev. The cover looked like a fairy tale book. I didn’t grab it right away because I heard half of it and it seemed too... "beautiful" right off the bat. That hasn’t always been a good sign for me. I might have just made the screw-up of the month, though...
