The album was a brave choice by SM: it completely broke away from their previous works and, commercially, it marked the beginning of their long oblivion. I saw the tours for this and the previous album: perhaps Street Fighting Years would have been better suited to an arena, yet stadiums were chosen instead. But these are mere commercial considerations and nitpicking. Since I lived through the '80s, I would be a bit cautious in saying they only produced crap...
