David Bowie 1.Outside
Voto:
One of the most beautiful reviews of this site. And this Outside is a M-A-S-T-E-R-P-I-E-C-E. And how could it be otherwise for an album by the Duke with Reznorian influences....
Autolux Future Perfect

They may not be the best in the studio...but damn, live they really kick ass. They play a very particular genre, a Brechtian-inspired punk-cabaret. Seen live alongside the Nin in Paris, they are a force of nature, considering the fact that there are just two of them, of course. Check out their official website if you're interested; it's very well done and original.

No problem, I might write another one after a while... even if yours is already very good and it will be a bit difficult. Have you heard the Dresden Dolls?
Joe Satriani The extremist
Voto:
The most appropriate terms for Satriani's music seem to me to be: pretentious and stale. Knowing how to measure out the solos means David Gilmour or Robby Krieger, in my humble opinion....

"Almost as if it wanted to show itself to the world, but without imposing and without overdoing it"....uhm....uhm...

With such a convincing review, it’s time to add something to the long shopping list. What a wonderful cover, too...

AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!???!!?! ?! It was the next review on my list!! Anyway, good job nin83, your second review is already definitely better than the first. Keep it up! These Autolux are really great, with excellent production and sound, even if, as you've pointed out, they're not exactly new. The references are such milestones that it naturally turned into a fantastic album. We're eagerly awaiting the big leap at this point...

Ah, I didn't know it was your first review. Anyway, don't worry, no one is a critic and we can all improve, just as I'm sure you will too. See you next time!

What a wonder, guys, beautiful review for a masterpiece of an album. The video for the cover of Hurt is something so wonderful that it made me shed a tear... that Romanek is truly a genius.
