THE REVIEW

I feel it necessary to spend a few words on one of the most interesting productions that came to light between 2004 and 2005. It's pointless to mention that the Italian public seems not to have noticed much the noise that the two Canadians are capable of creating with the instruments at hand, something that overseas has instead caught the attention of many, including Mr. Trent Reznor, who took them on tour with the Queen Of The Stone Age and his Nine Inch Nails. Anyway, coming to the album, 11 short and concise tracks, minimalistic but able to strike even those less inclined to this type of listening. Rough guitars, piercing vocals, gratuitous use of synths (not surprisingly liked by Reznor) compose the explosive mix all presented with the sole purpose of creating a good bit of noise emphasizing the duo's occasionally crude but always genuine attitude.

ITALIANS AND ITALIAN WOMEN (especially) THIS ALBUM IS CRAP!!

STANDARDIZATION. CONFORMITY. MORAL: don’t be afraid to say what you think, to distinguish what you like from what you can’t stand.

By genre

You’re A Woman, I’m A Machine is a fundamental album, synthesizing the sound of many 90s scenes and a precursor to many 2000s music movements.

'Sexy Results' can be considered a masterpiece: a perfect dance-punk piece, fast-paced and catchy.
