Um yes, I noticed it after I left the comment. Anyway, I can't believe the 1 for the review, but happy for you;)

Well, the new one isn't this, but "Switzerland" (:P). Anyway, I agree with your assessment; compared to the first two, it is definitely inferior. This, on the other hand, is an excellent sequel.

I listened to "I'm Just A Rock'n'Roll Singer" and I didn't retain much from that album. From how you describe it, it sounds anything but trivial... well, I'll give it a listen! Great review!!

Well, wait.. live Gillan performed much better than in the studio, just listen to "Child In Time".. the version from "In Rock" is clearly controlled, while live he would push it (this voice of his only lasted through the '70s unfortunately) like you wouldn't believe.. but also "Strange Kind Of Woman".. Anyway, I think it's pointless to go on.. I've said my piece.

I know the Byron period. But I don't think David's voice can compare to the power that Gillan reached in "Child In Time." Okay, in "Bird Of Prey" you can hear that he has a decent voice, but even listening to the live show from '73, it doesn’t seem to me that he hits such high notes. I want to specify that I really appreciate Byron's voice, but it has nothing to do with Gillan ;-)

Byron more skilled than Gillan?? Come on!!! I'm not very familiar with the album, so I can't express a judgment on that, but I can definitely comment on the statement!

Well, I've always liked Anouk. Okay, if you stick to the Pop/Rock genre, you risk becoming a bit cliché after a while, but she has a very beautiful voice that gives an extra push to the songs. The album in question is good. The acoustic reinterpretations of some tracks are nice, especially the more rock songs from "Graduated Fool." The best: "Searching."
