Lou Reed Set The Twilight Reeling
Voto:
Nothing: I found Reed outdated and quite exhausted, with few musical ideas... maybe he focused more on the lyrics, but I found the music boring. Standard stuff and with "little" personality.
Lou Reed Legendary Hearts

One of the lowest points in Reed's discography (in my humble opinion) along with Metal Machine Music.

yes yes yes... it's nice to discuss these great themes that afflict humanity and keep the debaserian people awake... yes yes... let's continue... for me, for example, it doesn't seem like I'm mocking anyone, rather the opposite... but I would suggest to these two deep and insightful editors (MB and MP) to open an interesting Forum directly on the site and forget about this review, or not? But if you prefer to stay here and mess around in the warmth, feel free... it's also your home :-)))

"Pure craftsmanship" album... the standards are there but it lacks quality of arrangement, originality, and heartfelt inspiration... Ahhh, the old theory that the first 3/4 albums are the good ones and then it’s all "business" and craftsmanship...

If the Punisher was still around, he would have turned it into a death-pulp-trah meatloaf straight out of the Perfect Pulp Reviewer manual!!
Carmen Consoli Eva Contro Eva
Voto:
Interesting record but too soft and monotonous. The excess of refinement and minor chords ultimately creates an extremely boring and analgesic result at the edge of tolerance.
Maurice Ravel Bolero
Voto:
Beautiful review and excellent piece this Bolero. I remember it like it was yesterday, the beautiful version by B.Bozzeto animated with the dinosaurs..
Beck Midnite Vultures

NO... unfortunately, this album really sucks for me (and it’s not just a throwaway comment)... I don’t like this acid-70s-funk-disco turn at all, and I prefer his other works that I still listen to.

Always about the theory "The first 5 albums of a singer are the most significant: after that, it's all about the trade, tricks, and craftsmanship"... I've been saying this for months...
