I quote this line from the movie Donnie Darko because I think it is something we (including myself) do often. In life, I am a 48-year-old; I know I am very generous, maybe even too much, and sometimes I become a fool, as they say in Rome, and above all I am a dreamer.
I also have my flaws; I am very, very proud, I don't smoke and I don't drink, and I have two children, one 19 years old and in university and one 14 years old, Andrea and Ale, who together with my mother (unfortunately passed away 5 years ago) are the most important things in my life. Two years ago, I also lost my father.
I have been reading Debaser for years, but I only joined two years ago and only now have I written my first reviews (which, by the way, were harshly critiqued),,,,,but I won't give up. I will continue even if I know that at my age I have little to offer the young Debaser community (the idea is great, congratulations to the "inventors").
Because I believe that more than reviews, the record itself is more important; on Debaser, it seems to be the opposite. In my reviews, you will find the records I like and the reasons why I like them. I am neither a musician, although I play guitar for fun, nor a music critic, so don't expect very refined reviews with technical terms—I don't know them. I just tell you what I feel with my ears, nothing more, nothing less.
