Survives in Florence on a meager government employee salary, and it's the only thing thin that can be attributed to him. Those who gave him the nickname – which also serves as a nickname – didn’t really think of grasshoppers, but rather of his remarkable stature, clearly three figures tall when distributed over a considerable height.

Born in the same year as the singer-songwriter (The Freewheelin' - Bob Dylan), ergo not a young buck anymore, he is primarily a classic music enthusiast, a dedicated attendee of the concerts that luckily his city offers in abundance, mostly for the benefit of tourists from civilized countries. But he listens in industrial quantities to every kind of music (record: 14 hours a day, during a leg in a cast), obviously excluding what is called music just by convention, like Sanremese bleats, pneumatic hammers known as "techno," adolescent pop for the dull-witted, and the infernal chaos of metallers. Among this latter, however, every so often he finds something salvageable, just like a piece of useful iron in a scrapyard of wreckage.

His extreme poverty has not prevented him from assembling a vast collection of CDs, but he has no Internet at home, so he takes advantage of his workplace to send reviews. There he survives 6 or 9 hours a day, surrounded by a bizarre fauna of anthropomorphic creatures, well represented by a forty-something sorceress and a masochistic classic music lover who hates the piano (thus depriving herself of about half of the classical repertoire).
And it could have been worse: let's not forget that Florence is the "city of daring minds," but also of Marco Masini (every era has the genius it deserves), and his fans are plentiful here.

Insane stuff, but after about half an hour of good music, Fantozzian frustrations disappear, and another life begins.

Greet with joy!

Hello dear Flo, I need some information: as a connoisseur of Leonard Cohen, how many songs has he published in total? I have counted 143 in the 15 albums. Has he released any unreleased tracks in live recordings and compilations as well? Thanks in advance.
