It's haunting the black and white opening of Rai 3 that airs at night after the "alternative" films, before showing in sequence the cut scenes, where they pass the razor across a woman’s eye and split it open. Every time I see it, I feel uneasy. The other day after "Last Tango in Paris," I turned off the TV, even knowing I was missing the more serious parts (like Brando asking the girl to inspect him from behind).

But wouldn't it have been easier to leave a comment on HTLO? That said, pasta & fagioli without carrots and celery loses many of its vitamin properties (this has nothing to do with it, but I wanted to say my piece) / The CoF are among the worst Black groups out there, not because they are the most well-known and/or mainstream, but simply because they always do the same things. I don't understand how they manage to sell, you'd be better off burning the first two and downloading the covers from the internet.

I like death metal, I couldn't care less about the covers, but damn, this one is truly insane. Full-on 80s. Welcome to De-Copertiner.

One who calls himself "dominus satanas" and tells another to "wake up"? Soon Giuliano Ferrara will come to impose on us to do 4 hours of fitness after every meal... OP! OP! OP!...

Now it's OFFICIAL. Nick has been kicked out. Source NME on Homme's statement. And Nick has made three: Kyuss, Dwarves, QOTSA. Rumor has it that Screaming Trees bassist Van Conner will be joining.

Damn, I was STRAconvinto it was with an I, but I'm not (was, now that I know) the only one to make that mistake. I wrote "Nick OlivIeri Music" and got 1010 results, even sites of the qotsa...

In the meantime, I'm waiting for the release of "Eagles Of Death Metal," and let's see what the desert king has in store for us this time. For the next one from Queens, there’s still some waiting to do.

In fact, my favorite is the self-titled one, written 85% by Josh. It's not that I don't like Rated and Songs, but the first one aligns more with my tastes. Then we have to consider that now Homme, with the fame he has gained, can call anyone to play with him… Maybe they'll form a band with Les Claypool or Dirk Lance… MAYBE!! Anyway, for those who love SFTD, losing Olivieri will be a tough blow… provided it’s all true and provided they don’t make peace… I'm waiting for a statement on qotsa.com; on an unofficial site, they can write whatever they want.

I read the news on thefade.net and on all the various unofficial sites of the band. There's nothing official, but even if there was, IF Homme really kicked out Olivieri, it's not like it’s a huge loss. If it's true about Lanegan, that's another story, but even that isn't exactly a big deal. THE REAL DISASTER would be reading "Josh Homme retires from the scene." The others are worth half of Homme. After Kyuss, he formed QOTSA, and the others had some good bands, (except for Mondo Generator) but of lesser value. As long as Homme is around, there’s hope; if he disbands a group and changes the name, it’s not like it’s a big deal. I much prefer Kyuss POST Olivieri, maybe even QOTSA post Olivieri will be better.
