Black Sabbath: Forbidden
File Audio Not intrested ★
Oh my God. There's a song here where Ice-T's appearance is the best part. Then they imitate hair metal like Warrant, their past selves from a few years ago, the thrash metal of Metallica. It follows with a tear-jerking ballad that is boring and some not awful but trivial tracks, among which stands out a Rusty Angels that borders on embarrassment.
Deep Purple: Slaves And Masters
CD Audio Not intrested ★★
An album that aims to imitate Rainbow but ultimately resembles Bon Jovi more. Fortunately, Deep Purple are top-notch craftsmen, which saves them from horror.

this album doesn't exist, the last good one by DP was PERFECT STRANGERS

Well, on this I think anyone would agree. Even afterwards there are some listenable tracks if one wants to settle and listens to them without comparing them to the Roba Vecchia, just look at Purpendicolar. Obviously, all stuff that is absolutely dispensable.
Metallica: Garage Inc.
CD Audio Not intrested ★
Double album, over two hours of music and not a single cover that comes even close to the original. I don't know what they were hoping to achieve, but the burps and the nonsense they say into the microphone between songs are just so endearing, making it clear that they are passionate big kids.

They wanted to sell a couple of CDs at stratospheric prices without putting in any effort; mission accomplished. As for the new covers, aside from the medley by Mercyful Fate, which I actually quite liked. The first CD is a rehash of the old garage that marked Jason Newsted's entry into the band, and as far as I'm concerned, the beginning of the decline... not for him as a bassist, but for the misguided notion of continuing the experience without Cliff.

Well, it’s obvious they were hoping for that; my "I don't know" was pure rhetoric :) Newsted doesn’t look out of place, that’s true: however, in my opinion, we’re dealing with such refined minds that they would probably have started producing crap even if Cliff were alive and kicking.

I'm sorry, but I cannot access external content such as YouTube links. However, if you provide me with the text you'd like translated, I'd be happy to help!

With Cliff, I don't know... maybe he would have left on his own... in a less tragic way and still alive. It's certainly interesting to notice how the change happened so suddenly after his death...

Well, come on, the covers aren't that bad; compared to the crap they produced in those years (and that they still produce today), it's pure gold.

It’s true what Chagall says... it really seems that there is no end to the worst...

After Cliff, they made an album like "...and justice for all" which, in my opinion, has nothing to envy from the previous ones. For me, the beginning of the decline started from the black album onwards, and I also believe that even with Burton in the lineup, not much would have changed. Unfortunately, Burton died young, and since we can’t know what he would have done in Metallica, we’re left with the memory of him young and uncompromising, but back then the other three were also young and uncompromising.

I also really liked Justice back then, but there are also some underwhelming tracks that feel like fillers, and the whole thing came across as slower and clumsier.... in short, a significant change compared to Master.... as for what would have happened with Cliff alive and well, we can only speculate..... the fact is that seeing them today, as the Romans say, my heart tightens....
Pink Floyd: A Momentary Lapse of Reason
File Audio Not intrested ★★★
A particularly fashionable solo Gilmour with a hint of Eighties kitsch. A stretched sufficiency, but obviously far from what one would expect to hear from Pink Floyd. The least successful work of the band. For now.

I basically agree with you, even though I've reevaluated it a bit in the last few months. Still, yes, we're at most three. I think what's coming out in about a month will have some nice surprises. The mere fact that it's 90% instrumental (they've never done anything like this, I mean an album that's almost entirely instrumental) deserves attention, in my opinion.

Not a great album obviously, but the grand solo at the end of On the Turning Away, after all these years, continues to be one of my unmissable Gilmour highlights. Just over two minutes of inspiration and guitar expressiveness at celestial levels. This proves that in any Pink Floyd album, even the worst, you can always find something memorable.

madcat, I don't know if you saw that they released 2 or 3 demos of 30 seconds of some tracks... they really don't tell me anything.

Yes, Frenky, I listened to them, I didn't tear my hair out either, but they are fragments, made to give you an idea of the sound of the album and that’s it. Maybe I’m wrong and it will be a disappointment eh (just a hunch, I don't think it will be), but I repeat, just for the uniqueness of the fact that it’s all instrumental, it has caught my attention.

Static-X: Wisconsin Death Trip
CD Audio Not intrested ★★★
The clean vocals clearly imitate Rob Zombie, the growl seems directly sampled from the first album of System of a Down and the first one of Soulfly, the keyboards are blatantly taken from Fear Factory, and the singer is more over-the-top than the Limp Bizkit guitarist without even wearing makeup. The brooding bass of Korn is missing, likely due to obvious technical limitations. The cover is too '90s for anyone, and they even manage to imitate Slipknot from three years later by putting a boring state background.

Unfortunately, he cut off the final sentence where I mentioned that they also plagiarized the Lostprophets of the future by admitting a guy into the group who would later be convicted of child abuse. Rest in peace Wayne Static aka "WorstHairdoOfTheMillenniumThatDidn 'tStopHimFromMarryingAPornStar."
The Velvet Underground: Squeeze
CD Audio I lack ★★
Exactly what did the record label hope to achieve by producing this stuff and passing it off as Velvet Underground? And it's a waste because, for an album that shouldn't exist, it's surprisingly enjoyable at times. Simple and cuddly pop rock, but if it weren't under the VU name, it wouldn't deserve at all the spittle it receives daily. Poor Doug Yule.
