I remember that when I was selling records, this album was quite sought after among fans of Tangerine Dream and similar artists... I would often listen to it in the store... damn me for not keeping a copy!

Along the Edges, Ronald Thomas and I ("Roffe has a hole in his head, a scar 10 centimeters above his right eye, it looks like if he falls and hits that spot he will die on the spot...") and Empty Rooms ("We close - inside - boxes - pieces of life - gone -- remain - empty rooms.") I've listened to them a thousand times. It's a great album, released during a moment of grace in Italian alternative music. I love the direct and punk naivety of Rooms ("Days/as days/days/as days/to keep/or maybe in some way/wasted/without strength/days/as rooms/rooms/and there's nothing outside/there's nothing outside/except the colors you already know."), the guitar riffs in Palace in Insects ("Sitting on the edge of the bathtub/I watch little creatures/moving their antennas among dead hair/and pubic hair/they seem to enjoy it...), and... but you already know this stuff Alessandro, right? So let me tell you something else, about bathtubs... Intrigued by such a strange and cold cover, so sanitarium-like, I've discovered with surprise that it's a photo taken by Ronald Schneider, just a Swiss like me! I took his book "Entre Temps" from which the image is drawn: it’s a volume that documents with photos Schneider's stay at a Swiss psychiatric clinic due to his severe depression... the images in this book go well with this album... But I’m writing too much... sorry for being intrusive, but it’s my way of saying: welcome!!!

Welcome Alessandro. The first one is really great! :) This BlondeRedhead is already among my top ten albums of the year. I don't know why, but it brings out memories that I still haven't been able to decipher, sounds and feelings from when I was a child in the second half of the sixties...

Well done, Cleo! An intimate and special review... the "wild ones," both a blessing and a curse for us women...

Finally, this record has arrived! It took its time, but the wait was totally worth it! Great great great Neil, I've been listening to it on loop for days. I always skip the first track, but the rest... the last four songs (VampireBlues, On The Beach, MotionPictures, AmbulanceBlues) are masterpieces! Zigghio, you have a great responsibility; the kosmo has decided to take everything you recommend (if it doesn't already have it). Cheers!

So: I had this promo disc lying around for months and months, and I hadn't listened to it, even though every time zzzzzz expressed his love for this group in his comments here and there, I promised myself I would listen to it but never did because I listen to too much stuff and forget.... So today, while tidying up, I found it, put it on for the first time and... and... and... it's beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful beautiful!!! (zzzzz I haven't sent you the CDs I said I would... I'll do it soon) Uelalì, Rohan :D
