Our guy certainly didn't hold back, Zion. Odra, what a masterpiece "Spirits"! It's his "swan song." Thanks to Hal and all the other friends. I also want to point out another of his tracks, brought back to prominence by Paul Weller, "The Bottle," one of the all-time singles.

Black, is it possible that you appear in all the reviews I like to comment on? I basically agree with you and the newcomer Litrigol, even though I don't think it deserves a five. An artist who, like many others, clears the field of stale debates about "pop being a lesser god's child."

Once again, I agree with the Crow. A shareable and well-written receipt.

Let's try not to spread the word too much about jayandmarie and... not step on each other's toes, especially. :-)

Five just for making up for this inexplicable absence. Unlike politics, utopia is sometimes achievable in music. Many of the hippie ideals, shipwrecked or digested by the establishment, remain immortal in albums like this one. Who wouldn’t want to relive a "Déjà Vu" of that kind?

Great group, no doubt about it. 3.5 for this and 4.5 for "Yes" and "Cure for Pain."

In this profusion of receipts, it happens that someone, beautiful like this one, might slip through. Let's remedy that.
Fleetwood Mac Rumours

My speech referred to the fact that with "a posteriori" judgments, someone of my (our?) age, certainly not you Nobody, would want to deny the influence and even the importance that lighter listens like this have had on our formation, not only musically. One should have the "courage" to acknowledge that unpretentious records like this, car ride songs like "Dreams," are, along with the more "elevated" listens, pieces of our lives, small yet essential pieces of that complicated puzzle that is our imagination. To berate oneself for having given in to temptation, or worse, to pass "critically correct" judgments on albums like "Rumors" today seems frankly useless and a bit childish. I should also emphasize, though it is superfluous to mention, that it doesn't have to be liked necessarily.

I don't understand those, even of a certain age, who renounce the easier listens and flaunt the more refined ones, as if they weren't just as important for the formation and life of each of us. With pop-rock music, ideal biographies are often constructed that are not only barely credible but, above all, of rare inhumanity. Well done, Black.

I agree with the friends who have already spoken, even though there was a time when whoever didn't play "Master Blaster (Jammin')" at parties wasn't my friend. ;-)
