Dinosaur Jr. Fossils

The first 4 albums are stunning. The 90s period, including Where you been, didn’t particularly impress me. The latest ones are overflowing with solos and show a lot of craftsmanship, but J and the guys still write spectacular songs. For me, Farm would be a masterpiece with 3/4 less tracks and without the excessive length.

What a site of little sisters debsaio is becoming! Holy moly. Come on, let’s go on the Django review and throw some shit at Tarantino because he says "negro."

Well, Albini, as mentioned in the review, is a provocateur. His lyrics are a mix of cynicism and dark humor (check out "prayer to god," almost blasphemous). I mean, if this text were written today, it would have a nice :) after every sentence. Or maybe a ;)
Alfonso Gomez-Rejon Quel fantastico peggior anno della mia vita
Voto:
I found it truly enjoyable. A worn-out theme tackled in a very unique way, without any pathetic moments or excessive sentimentality. Seen in the original language, I remember it was full of wordplay, especially regarding the movie titles they were parodying. I'm curious to see how they rendered those in Italian, but I imagine a lot has been lost. For me, it's a little gem.

Always 5 for Unsane. Even though Total Destruction, Occupational Hazard, and Visqueen are a notch above for my tastes.
Alejandro González Iñárritu Revenant

As I mentioned in the other review, my thoughts are clear. Here, I add: the fact that it is technically excellent goes without saying. We're talking about Hollywood, about a director, a cast, and a series of incredible professionals with a massive budget at their disposal. It's like being surprised by the special effects in a James Cameron or Nolan film. Honestly, I evaluate other aspects; everything else is the bare minimum one can expect.

Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu The Revenant

Agreed on almost everything, except for one thing: Birdman was already a concentration of hyper-technicality for its own sake. This film has no soul; I see only a lot of craftsmanship and contrived dreamlike visions to elevate the work to something it isn't. It's a film deliberately designed to scoop up awards, just like Birdman did before it. Inarritu is a phenomenon behind the camera, but I preferred him in his dramas where people's destinies intertwined in the most absurd ways. There, there were ideas; there was a lot of writing. In this one, the plot is disarmingly banal and the dialogues are about a dozen, none of which are memorable. Aestheticization of raw, naked violence—if you want to find anything else, go ahead. For me, it remains a decent/good work. Nothing more. Oh, the actors were great; Hardy was even better than Di Caprio, but good ol' Leo will win the Oscar for a role that doesn't hold a candle to that of The Wolf of Wall Street.

I already know these things. I learned them thanks to "Cioè" in the '90s. I also know how not to get women pregnant. Oh, and also men.
