I finished listening to it. I wouldn't say it was terrible, but definitely not worthy of praise or exaltation. Better than a lot of things (like Quest for Fire), but absolutely useless compared to others (the aforementioned 25... the Monster Magnet tab above all). There are various aspects of this album that I don’t understand: the vocals—what’s the need for singing in a band like this? The epic-style ending—what's the point? As someone has already pointed out, why all those female vocalizations, what's the purpose? Anyway, I’d say the score for an album like this could hover around a 3.5, maybe more like a 3 than a 3.5 (if we absolutely have to talk about numbers). Nevertheless, even if it’s not particularly original (it’s hard to find anything original in psychedelic metal nowadays) and not perfectly constructed, it remains an album that can be listened to from start to finish. (Definitely better than the low toners, you’ll agree).
