With Herzog's Nosferatu, there's no flaunting of anything, just as there's no flaunting when it comes to bragging about having read the book (about which one could say 2000 things, but certainly not that it's an essential book; I read it at 16 because I was crazy about Cradle of Filth...). By the way, the quote you mentioned was something I wrote just the other day. You watched Nosferatu yesterday, so it seems I was right; feel free to leave that one there. As for your opinion on the review, I refer you to comment 104. To conclude, if the director himself claims that the atmosphere of his film is more akin to Carmilla than to Dracula (even though the story is almost identical to Stoker's book), you're absolutely free to stick to your opinion, of course, but it seems clear that maybe I didn't write all this nonsense. P.S. No one wanted to argue with you for no reason; it's the EVIDENTLY written in capital letters that annoyed me. That was definitely bragging about questionable literary knowledge. N.B. (It's questionable to consider Dracula a great book, not your literary knowledge, which I don't know and wouldn't dare to judge).
