No, someone from the right doesn’t write for a left-wing newspaper in a free country. However, someone who wants to write for a right-wing newspaper today must necessarily kiss Berlusconi's ass. Not all of the right is xenophobic (there are men on the right with guts who face problems and don’t try to run away from them... incredibile, right?). Hence the opposition to Bossi-Fini (a law that solves no problems, as we all see every day), a law worthy of Nazi Germany (maybe a temporary residence center isn't so awful, but to convince me they would need to show me how they really are).

Then, Berlusconi's governments are not right-wing, and Fini's current position (the only right-wing man worthy of my respect in the Italian political scene) confirms this. Berlusconi is an entrepreneur. He doesn't lean left or right; he goes where the money is and where he can make more. No one justifies the duomo. In fact, the duomo to his face was definitely a maneuver that did Berlusconi more political good than physical pain (which, by the way, cannot have been insignificant).
