"Where is there a cell phone that can pick up a signal from Iraq to America? But since when does a battery last for 90 minutes straight? Why does the air never run out? How come they 'casually' find neon in their pocket? Why is the coffin so wide? etc. etc. But above all, after seeing the trailer and the poster, how did you expect a decent film? Isn't it crystal clear that it was a shitty little movie where the atmosphere is everything (at least in the director's intentions) and the rest is zero? The kind (low-budget Z-movie with max 3 actors and a single setting) is the worst film I've seen (and the genre itself isn't exactly great)."

industrial gothic metal techno??? It's one of two things: either it's the coolest album ever, or it's just terrifying. I'll listen and review.

"A young Italian hip-hop artist just eighteen years old and already many industry insiders have compared him to the American rapper Eminem." By industry insiders, do you mean those little men in orange who crawl into manholes in the middle of the road?
Until Graves In your Name

I thought it was a genre that peaked in '95 with The Gallery and died at the end of the '90s with the terrible Projector. Instead, there are still people pushing it? Brave these Until Graves. I vote on trust for how much this genre can still offer today.

great job, as usual (is it written like that?). to continue our dantastic little game: do you know the oem quartet? if yes, the first question is the usual one: similar bands? and the second is: what the hell kind of genre do they play??? if you don't know them, I'll drop you their MySpace. Featured Content on Myspace by the way, the CD is available for free and legal download on some independent label, probably Anomalo Records.

Why do I think it doesn't matter a damn? I'll explain it right away: The Millionaire won an Oscar, it's one of Boyle's flattest films (the director is not genius to begin with). That same year, Let the Right One In comes out—a beautiful Nordic film, the best I've seen in theaters in the last 3 years. The Americans don’t nominate it for any Oscars? No, they do better! They make a remake just 2 years later!!! Plus, the very idea that an Oscar for a non-American film only gets nominated for "Best Foreign Film" is ridiculous in itself. The Oscars are an American farce for an American audience; it's sad that we give a damn about it.

hj: I was actually referring to the movie, but it’s true that it’s hard to make sense of what I wrote: do yourself a favor, buy the double DVD of Raging Bull, there’s an interview with Thelma Schoonmaker in the extras that will clear up all your doubts. "Because if I'm not mistaken that year De Niro won the Oscar" no, you’re not mistaken, it’s me who can’t explain myself. "What you say about Taxi is completely true Nes, however it’s undoubtedly stupid and unfair" I’m not the one saying it, it’s someone who experienced Oscar night as a protagonist, and whether it's right or wrong is a secondary issue. As far as I’m concerned, the Oscar is worth nothing.

HJHJ: "Otherwise explain to me why De Niro was not awarded in '77 for 'Taxi Driver'; I can't understand it." Because awarding a film where an ordinary citizen tries to orchestrate an assassination attempt on a senator sounded a bit un-American, bringing to mind the events of November '63 in Dallas. He wasn't nominated for 'Raging Bull' either because the magical duo De Niro and Scorsese reminded too much of 'Taxi Driver'. At least this is what Thelma Schoonmaker claims, who won an Oscar for Best Editing in '81 for 'Raging Bull'.

I would call them "nothing," if it weren't for the fact that this nothing has attracted people here to comment. Punny, everyone has already told you: this is not a review of the album; it’s a review out of nowhere. Don’t half-ass your choices; if you had talked about the latest Muse album while changing the titles of previous albums, this nothing would have still "worked" (or not worked, depending on your point of view). But then why should I be here explaining something you already know? Damn, I fell for it again. You’re a phenomenon. Useful only to those who make a living off Debaser, but you’re a phenomenon nonetheless. Five for your ability to say nothing and spark a ruckus.
