For me, Anthony had already become tiresome with the second album. I don’t want to be misunderstood: I’ve been hoping to see him live for 4 years, but the problem is that he works on record (wonderfully, I won’t be the one to say otherwise) once in a million occasions. He’s incredibly talented and has a voice that touches the strings of the soul (in the most physical and least allegorical sense of the phrase)... but that’s it, he has nothing else. Not that I’m asking for more from him, I’m just saying that for my tastes, one album is more than enough.

Without bringing Altman into it, this film actually throws in too much. I still remember the "Maccheccazzo?!?" after the rain of frogs: Mirko started with a "eddiosantissimo bbaasssta...." Lucia replied with "Shut up, idiot, this film is genius," while I sank into the couch reflecting on the fact that "if I stay quiet, I avoid arguing... Sure, the film is inconclusive. But it's the most interesting role played by Tom Cruise. Oh right, Tom Cruise is in it... No, this film doesn't convince me, but I'll keep that to myself."
