panapp: a couple of films with almost non-existent, ridiculous, or incomprehensible scripts: terminator2, crank, the tree of life, pulp fiction, lost in translation... We may not be talking about apocalypse now, but these are still works that have left quite an impact in cinema. I don't intend to start a discussion on what is more or less important for the success of a film; we wouldn't get anywhere with that. I would say that the sum of the parts is definitely more important than any single element.

"For me, however, saying that God is a man is to belittle Him, and the person who says that deserves a 1. Hard to understand?" comment 51: "Maybe it’s not accurate to say that he 'denigrated.' So, first you say he was denigrating, then you say he wasn’t denigrating but diminishing, and then you change your mind again and denigrate him again... Decide which of the two nonsenses you prefer, but then stick to your line."

It's funny that you keep being grumpy for no reason...

"To say that Jesus was not God is to belittle him, period." Period? I've brought you a couple of arguments... yours would be "period." So, it's like that just because you say so? Max, you're a complete idiot; if you back up your ideas with a "period," anyone listening will just laugh and turn away.

"Try to imagine a quintet made up of five great defenders, then in offense you score, huh? But I'd say that at certain levels, it's hard to find anyone who can't put one in; I mean, if you don't score, you can be as good as you want in defense, but your place is on the bench, ninety degrees to the sidelines, supporting your teammates (and for certain levels, I'm talking about promotion in Italy, not exactly the NBA)." /// "Always the same, take everything literally and insist on talking even when you don't know a damn thing." I believe I know a little bit about basketball played (not that much, though). I leave basketball on TV to fans of the combo beer tank top and underwear. And just for the record, I didn't take a damn thing literally; I started my comment even agreeing with you. Next time, I'll send you a reassuring private message first, maybe that way you can avoid getting angry for nothing.

from all 10 coaches, otherwise it sounds like I’ve had 110 in 15 years...

"Whoever scores one more basket wins; you might not allow even a single basket, but if you don’t score, you don't win." True, but in 15 years of competitive basketball, I have been told to the point of nausea by all 10 coaches I’ve had that games are won on defense. But hey, I don't know a damn thing about Nowitzki and Garnett.

that "his words" refers to Jesus.

De André didn't just humanize him; he pointed to him as a human example to follow. He identified him as one of the greatest revolutionaries in history. In short, De André was particularly fascinated by the figure of Christ; he never did anything to denigrate or diminish his figure. On the contrary, what he said was that he was a man, like us, better than us, but still a man. You can imitate a man, you cannot imitate God. In reality, the humanization of Jesus, paradoxically, makes his words stronger. "But inhuman is always the love of one who gasps without resentment" — easy for God, but less so for a man.
