For me, it was "a soldier who for his own reasons also has a girlfriend" that got me. The film is a latent homosexual mess. I have nothing against latent homosexual films, but I wonder how it is possible that Cage's mere presence guarantees a bad film. Always. "Raising Arizona" is the exception that proves the rule.

"Verdena": the proof that even the hardcore Debaser fans have their weaknesses. Neither am I exempt from weaknesses; in fact, I have others, but I have them too Why not the Verdena? Because they’ve been fucking getting on my nerves, instinctively, since '99. 2011 was, among other things, the year of the media blitz. WOW in three versions, the DVD, and the live outtake disc or that crap that's given away with XL. A move like that for Vasco or Britti, or anyone like them, would rightfully have led to kilos of fecal insults.

The woods 1... Damn, what a story. Just titling a film the woods 2 would be stupid, but the woods 1 ONE!!!... The best scene is the one with the monster girl with bulging eyes wandering through the woods. The actress's blindness due to the "particular more than special" effects made me piss myself.
