"Nothing revolutionary, not yet" I believe post-rock has already said everything it had to say a while ago. Who cares if it's not revolutionary, as long as it works. Ps: I don't know if this album works actually... but your review does despite the TbT.

Holy crap, what a moniker!!! However, I would have opted for a more boozy "Cerchiotestam."

Maybe it’s because they nailed the timing of the release (oh my, maybe it came out 4 months ago, and then it’s you who nailed the timing to talk about it), but despite that worrying "Pop" and that annoying "Indie," I'm almost tempted to steal it. Good job, great Nicolas!

It will be a frenzy, and I apologize in advance.///Why? Can someone explain to me why? I've watched this program about five or six times. The first time it disgusted me, but from the second time on, I made myself follow it to understand. To understand what makes people laugh about what they're doing, to understand why there are people who have invested money in it, to understand, of course, why people watch it, and above all to understand why these two are free to walk the streets without the first Christian who recognizes them spitting and farting in their faces. Why??? Why does this brilliant comedy program seem like nothing but crap to me? Because I find that the absurd comedy of F. and F. makes me long for the subtlety of Italian comedies, the Apulian accent of Lino Banfi, the modesty of Edwige Fenech's breasts, and even for Il cicciobello who makes soft, yellow-brown poop. Why? Why??? What have they done to me that I hate them so much? To me, who almost found the "not young" one somewhat likeable! What lurks behind the screen and explodes in fierce disgust every time these two are vomited out of the cathode ray tube? I heard they even made a movie... Yes, but then, it’s not that this isn't a country for old people; this isn't a country for the brain-dead. So, lobotomize me. But a real lobotomy, not this cultural drip-drip. Let someone screw us while looking us straight in the face. Let someone shoot us. But right in the eyes, not in the back. I would prefer a violent death to a delicate agony.

I gave away the mp3s. They aren't worth a dime, but they still have their charm. Last year was still rise above.

Oh my God... 21??? already xiii had been driving me crazy... this was their song that I preferred I just listened to it again, and today I find it honestly embarrassing (still better than a lot of other awful stuff). So I'll skip the proposal then.

I believe it's the best film on the Planet of the Apes after the original. Superior to the three sequels, needless to say, superior to Burton's version. I don't understand the criticism of the acting: half of the film is performed by characters created through special effects and, aside from Franco (probably more for my personal bias towards him than for his actual acting skills), I don't think any of the actors stand out as lacking. Even the claim that the apes are poorly done due to the low budget... The special effects are done by Weta (Avatar and District 9, just to name a couple, and we could continue with The Lord of the Rings if we feel like it...) and the film cost 90 million dollars (that’s ninety, not nine...). Then what does it have to do with Resident Evil or Jurassic Park? It's a blockbuster film that at times reflects on the relationship between man and animal (just like the one from '75). Well, anyway, maybe because I had very low expectations, but I really enjoyed it. It’s absurd at times, sure, but if Jurix were to see it, he would definitely be surprised. If all blockbusters were like this, it would be a treat.
