Oh my God, I've talked about the carnival album for I don't know how many comments, but I was actually referring to the caravan; I really love carnival. Well, maybe I haven't listened to it for those two or three decades, and I don't even remember the title, but the one with Hopkins (the one before this) is beautiful. The one after it is way less so. So when I was talking about carnival up there, I meant caravan... It's been a number of years, try to understand... but then who the hell am I talking to???

The right-wing political song in Italy is like a stadium chant sung by a single person, composed by people who seem to have entered the rehearsal room to escape from the assignments given by professors. The right-wing political song in Italy doesn't exist because the right in Italy is anti-culture. Not by chance, to contradict the idea that the Italian right is ignorance accompanied by more ignorance, Montanelli always pops up. ONLY Montanelli pops up. He is the exception that confirms the Rule. There are also people on the right who can make music, but they never engage in right-wing politics (understood as far-right). Likewise, the extreme left political song is pretty much non-existent as well. The beautiful and educated stuff in music is almost (almost) all anarchic.

Pink Floyd A Collection of Great Dance Songs

I don’t know the album and I honestly couldn’t care less about saying or hearing anything about Pink Floyd and I give a five to an album I’ve never even heard of just to make shivers run down the spine of those who still think that talking about music is a serious thing (get a grip, for fuck's sake).
That said, I still think that after drugs, the best companion for music is a glass to rest your forehead on. I’ve stopped with the first one (I’m almost 40 and until they make it legal for me, as they say: "I'm too old for this now") the money I’ve saved could be invested in a subscription to the State Railways all things considered.

Then I find out the pere ubju made an album this year, I thought they were buried since, I don't know, like eighty-seven. Sooner or later I'll have to listen to them. Maybe even this one. Sooner or later.

I was thinking that maybe you're right: at 40, you're done if you want to act young. And rap is about forty years old. In fact, today it's trap that’s in. Which is pretty old rap, rejuvenated by the special effect of autotune used like a vocoder over electronic beats that have been around for about ten years. In short: here the young music is just to cook pasta now. Something new will come, probably it’s already here but I’m too old to know it, and it won’t have anything to do with rap. Otherwise, what the hell kind of novelty would it be? Right?

I've been hearing this thing that rap is the youth music of the moment for 25 years... that in Italy decent music isn't made either. Today, both statements are objectively bullshit, but "Robert Smith's trick is just cocaine" is remarkable.

I’ve been invited to listen to them a thousand times, I’ve tried a thousand times, and a thousand times I found them anonymous. I know it’s not like that, but I believe (I’m pretty sure) I arrived too late, when certain sounds were already in the mouths and hands of a bunch of bands, certainly also thanks to them.
