THE REVIEW

Someone will spit in my face, but in this compilation, there's the best of Britain from this 2019, and perhaps, of the next future.
Speedy Wunderground is a really young label that only releases singles (and in one unique case the magnificent Squid EP), and between 2018/2019, the releases have been truly magnificent.

Some may have already listened to something or at least heard about some of these names.

To whet your appetite or dry up your erection, I'll do a track by track in the dark:

_The spoken word nightmare straddling post-punk/rock/hardcore with brass.
_the super-girl art-rock between St. Vincent and Jenny Hval that sounds like modern Wire.
_the cheeky dance-funk track.
_MES constantly lives without interruption.
_A hoarse punk funk with a dream interlude between Talking Heads and Roxy Music.
_The Peruvian track with a final hardcore explosion.
_the sparkling and dreamy, non-trivial Brit track.
_the psych-kraut-punk ride.

It hasn't officially been released yet, but on the label's website, there's the option to listen to the songs.
