Third: as obviously current as it is, the story told is overly fictional to be taken seriously fully: it exploits overused but valid themes in an excessively obvious and hurried manner. Other things about the album I didn't appreciate: sometimes the lyrics take easy shortcuts to fit with the music, temporarily losing strength. And above all, I found all the tracks sung by d'Alterio out of focus. It's true, reaching the end of the album is a bit heavy. Perhaps it's also due to the previous "Italia Ultimo Atto," which I dare to consider the best Italian album of the last 10 years. And, beyond everything, even though this hand of glory is almost never up to the predecessor, I just can't give it less than 4: from any perspective you look at it, I find it impossible to stop believing that Ianva is the best thing that has happened to Italian music.
