A friend of mine used to play for us, now a guy I know does. My friend stopped playing for us because "what a drag to deal with 3 washed-up prima donnas" (I never figured out if by "washed-up" he meant they weren't capable or just that they do everything to be as alternative as possible). The acquaintance who still plays for us, I ran into him about a year ago at a venue; I hadn't seen him in 4/5 years and he was acting all high and mighty like Paris Hilton. In case someone from the group passes by and thinks this post is nonsense: my friend is Nico, the acquaintance is the one whose mom and dad live behind the bingo hall in Washington. Kisses and hugs to everyone. I've never heard the album; I had heard recordings from years ago and I must admit they didn't seem that bad at all.

As far as I'm concerned, musically, these are some of the most beautiful things we have in Italy. To be honest, this is my least favorite studio work, but if all lackluster efforts were of this caliber, we'd be in a great place.

"The fact is that in summer I indulge in more spectacle and, if we want to be honest, ignorance rather than philosophy and content. Those I save for streaming." Then let’s not complain that mostly crap films come out in theaters and that stuff like "Only God Forgives" only stays in cinemas for 15 days... I wouldn’t know about the movie, the first time I saw the poster before reading the title, I thought: hasn’t this Caribbean crap already gotten old? Then I found out it was the poster for a different kind of crap.

Since you are so fond of the Italian lysergic scene, I’ll take the liberty of leaving you two names (which you might already know, but it is what it is...) Architeuthis Rex and Golden Cup. Then, since you write about such niche and interesting bands, I feel compelled to drop you the links: AR: Dark As The Sea | Architeuthis Rex GC: Vagabond | Blackest Rainbow Records

It's pointless to talk about the film; instead, we could discuss Nicholson's masterful performance, which has never seemed that masterful to me, but never mind. No, wait, he deserves a clarification: Nicholson is a great weirdo, the best. Period, end of story, he's never done anything else memorable. To make a comparison that's a stretch, we could say that Milla Jovovich in her portrayal of Joan of Arc as a weirdo was masterful, but overall that would seem like a colossal nonsense. It would be more appropriate to say that Jack is an unparalleled character actor, and Milla is an unprecedented hottie. What did Jovovich have to do with it? Aside from the fact that when she acts, she plays the weirdo and that's it, she is the woman I've loved the longest, I wanted to pay her tribute. Beautiful Milla, when are we going to have a quickie? I've been dreaming of you since '97! And besides, I mean, let’s talk a bit about the hot stuff; what else could this review be if not a little spicy (don't take it the wrong way ginger, but you could have pushed yourself a bit more).

Today, I don’t know, but in person, until a couple of years ago, they were incredible. On record, however, the older they get, the lighter and more soft they become. Passover all their life.
