he annoys me. Aside from the title track, I don't know anything about the album. All I can say that makes sense and is thought out about the work is: damn, what a shitty cover it has??? It looks like one of those folk music collections you find at gas stations for three euros and ninety... Go back to Pazienza, you'll profit massively.

Never heard of him. But I really loved all the films with Eddie Marsan that I've seen. Not that I've seen many, or that he was the lead actor, but still: I loved them to bits. I even remember his name... I don't know why, but I remember him in the films I've seen, he had parts that were even tiny... Good enough, believable in various roles, and as sneaky in the mind as an NBA mascot. I've been going around for years saying that the English in cinema have figured everything out.

If today a "medium good" new band that sells a lot were the protagonist of a movie, it would automatically be eliminated from the possible interest lists of all users on this site. It’s no surprise: we’re all Italians, and in this country, what’s new is taken for nonsense, while what’s old is seen as pure art. Even marketing gimmicks fool us (as this page demonstrates has always been the case). In 50 years, who knows who (because there will be someone, rest assured) will be brave enough to elevate the Metallica reality show to a work worthy of interest.

They are books for "neophytes" of the genre; you clearly are not, and you can avoid being surprised by certain things (there’s Jovanotti on the cover and you want a retrospective on kraut rock? Come on...). I've never read a music encyclopedia, but I have read a film one. And while it’s true that you often encounter opinions that are hard to agree with, it’s also true that in four lines they tell you everything you need to know. They won't be of any use for your education, but they can be valid examples of how to identify the essence of the works.

For as little as I know them (random songs on a CD given to me by a friend), they seem to me like Dead Can Dance without bite and without ideas. But I repeat: I know them very little.
