Eastwood doesn't act, Eastwood puts his face in front of the camera. The rest is all taken care of by his charisma. I've praised Gosling in the past, and now I have to say he's starting to get on my nerves a bit. The series may be acted better than a soap opera, and for being a series from this country, it might spark some discussions. But with the cast the movie had, turning it into a series was a pretty stupid choice. Well, we're in Italy, people don't watch Italian films, and so you find that 9 out of 10 people haven't even seen the movie. So yeah: it's a series that thrives on the ignorance of its own audience.

Everything is done quite well, maybe not enough, Weathley knows how to do his job. However, the plot is really an insane piece of crap. Too much even for me. In the genre, I will never tire of saying it, the best is Gut. Anyway, this is the pretty copy of "srpsky movie," with Martyrs having nothing to do with it: here there's not even the idea of gore, it’s all about "the banality of murder." Martyrs, on the other hand, keeps everything behind the murder. The core of Martyrs is the why of what happens; here (as in srpsky) the motivations for what happens are not even taken into consideration, the focus is really elsewhere.

After these three days of anime on Debaser, you've made me develop an innate craving for some nice random anime. So, I went to check if anything else by Nihei had been adapted after Blame, and I discovered a series that I won't get into because, let’s face it, Blame only interests me and probably four other people who likely don’t even know what Debaser is. That said, I did find this website here: maybe you already knew about it, maybe not. It gives me the impression of being something that violates about 1 copyright for every click, and I also get the feeling it might close down soon (but I could obviously be wrong). I remember falling asleep. On the stool in front of the PC... but when the Japanese talk about "no hope," that's how it is for me: either I sleep or I throw crap at the screen, cursing this fucking people that has a culture of pain and torment; if they were Catholic, they'd be hell on earth. All in all, better to sleep.
