David Bowie "Heroes"

My favorite Bowie album. "Heroes" is a great track, "Sons of the Silent Age" is beautiful (with that very captivating saxophone), and the instrumentals, including the haunting "Sense of Doubt" (which fits wonderfully in the soundtrack of "Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo").

I only know the first single from this album, "Check the meaning," really beautiful.

I would give this album three and a half stars... I also don't understand the choice to release "Money to burn" as a single. I consider it the worst song on the album.

To tell the truth, I would give this album three and a half stars. It’s an album I really like, perhaps because of the melancholic atmosphere it conveys. The triptych "Scorpio rising," "The infinite kiss," and "Song to my father" represents the peak of the album.

I only have the first two (beautiful) albums by A-ha... your review piqued my interest; I'll see if I can get it if I find it...

This is one of the albums I listen to the most and enjoy... there are beautiful songs like the famous "I've been loving you" and "Soft rains of April," but the overall quality of the album is good. However, I still prefer "Hunting high and low."

Faithless To All New Arrivals

Another nice album produced by Faithless, but in my opinion, it’s clearly inferior to the previous ones. In the meantime, it’s more subdued and less danceable (which isn’t such a big deal, as slow and dreamy songs like "Bombs," "Music Matters," and the dub of "I Hope" are really pleasant to hear), but there are others like the cover of "Lullaby" by The Cure (okay, the lyrics are borrowed from the song... but what about the rest of the track???), "A Kind of Peace" (nice piece but a bit boring), Nate's Tune (a composition that, in my opinion, is unnecessary and filler), and "The Man in You" (a curious episode with reggae rhythms that diverges from the band’s "classic" tracks). Anyway, recommended :)
Faithless No Roots

"....'No Roots' by 'Faithless' is simply a great album. It’s homogeneous, compact, elegant, and melancholic. It’s a blade in the heart. It runs fast, refined, and discreet from beginning to end and truly engages throughout its journey...." Exactly...another of their masterpieces: dreamlike atmospheres, tracks that convey great emotions and sensations.
