How can one not appreciate a piece like DNA or nuvole bianche? I really enjoy this album, not on par with the others, but some tracks are truly beautiful. Einaudi's best work comes after "una mattina" and it's "Divenire," an excellent collection of pieces, each one more beautiful than the last.

Right, in this case simplicity is not banality but a refined form of essentiality. Sounds stripped of every stylistic embellishment that arrive directly, without distractions, to strike the heart of the listener. Music that has a devastating effect on mine.
