THE REVIEW

It seems that the day should never end or that the night is the only ruler. A face appears before me. It has golden hues and bright are the locks. A calm green penetrates me.

Thirteen pieces in a disjointed climax of feeling. Enchanting and refined strokes painting a picture of emotions and loose thoughts. The sea crashing, the sprays kissing my face. I stand alone before the vastness. Thirteen piano pieces. As profound as they are simple, these melodies are light and velvety sweet and graceful notes that accompany you along the sunset.

The piano as the instrument of the soul is used by Einaudi for compositions that are not unparalleled masterpieces but have that magical power that captivates you, takes you and lifts you in a whirl of colors. Gentle symphonies like poems of a poet devoted to love and grace. Sweet moments of melancholy like clouds covering the sun, like dark strokes masking the horizon. Immersed in the salty air, I look up and breathe. I hear the splintering of the sea waves, this sea that seems to be there just for me.

An inert image listener, I remain to admire the horizon. Eternal waves follow one another and a bittersweet smile appears on my face. It is strenuous and painful but still the memory benefits me.
