Altra voce nera incredibile, storia.
I Heard It To The Grapevine.

Absolutely Hammill-Demetrio Stratos and some bluesy voices in my opinion. But this one is nice too. Of course, I wouldn't limit myself to a delicate and harmonious Buckley eh ("Starsailor"). Anyway, I listened to Ray Charles' first album not long ago; it's beautiful.

Yes, of course, Stratos without a doubt, I add! Then Hammill I still need to get used to a bit, but I like how he interprets the lyrics; he seems almost like a singer from theater plays. Good you, always recommending well as you do, and the set for the bagna cauda will arrive at your home for Christmas (without a horse head...)

So your girlfriend doesn't hate me anymore? Bueno :D Jokes aside, advising certain people is just a pleasure.

Last night I was compiling the list with her nearby, and she told me I should stay away from bad influences that distract me from the path of "prog." Just kidding, she doesn't even know one of them, can you imagine who I hang out with? Anyway, I focused more on rock and blues, but many other voices deserve admiration, especially in prog for sure. But have you ever listened to at least "Stairway to Heaven" by the Zeppelins?

I also recommend you listen to Hey Jude reinterpreted by Wilson Pickett featuring Duane Allman, go on YouTube, it's beautiful...

"But have you ever listened to Stairway to Heaven by Zeppelin?" Is that a joke? I love Zeppelin :)

Very beautiful. But Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Muddy Waters, Ray Charles, Al Green, Paul Rodgers, and this guy here

I put Ray in, Waters is an idol of mine but already ranked in blues, Green I never liked, Nina Simone and Fitzgerald I've never listened to much but they definitely deserve it, thanks!

There are too many beautiful voices, A Salty Dog thinks we used to do it with the band as well, a monumental oversight for a group I love...

Hell, do you know a voice that you might really like? It's Nick Cave's.

No way, Nick Cave doesn't do it for me... I was asking about the Zep because I started to doubt I knew them, sorry! Ah, I listened to Nursery again today on break, I had totally forgotten about it, it's so cool, you know? It was just gathering dust...

O_O What have you heard about Cave? Point two: don’t get any crazy ideas, the first 4 by Zeppa are unmissable and I like the next two as well. 3) Nursery so cool, you say? I had no doubt you’d like Hell a lot, I’m happy about that :)

I really like him as an author and poet, a bit less as a voice, but he would fit in well too...

Congratulations on the ranking, very well done, but seeing Freddie only in 20th place makes my heart ache...

This was fun from a long time ago, my favorite voices are these but also others that I haven't included or that I've forgotten. Mercury is definitely one of the many number ones, it's not a precise and ordered ranking, the first is worth as much as the last. Thank you for stopping by.

Cooke - Redding - Gaye is my sacred triad. Then there are all the others, from the most acclaimed to the most unusual, like David Thomas (I swear!)
