Hi, king, I forgot Mr. Fantasy!!! The first Soft Machine isn’t from '68?

I don't know, it seems like '68 to me. But in the face of such a regal and majestic statement, I will check.

Wait, my memory might be deceiving me. Checking it seems that most report it as '68, but I want to see the original vinyl. I'll keep you posted.

Yes, although it includes pieces from 1967, the album was recorded and officially released in 1968. You were right. Bye, bye.

Since you've come to mess with my ranking, I'm coming to mess with you here XD In my opinion, you're missing: Bob Dylan, Love, Silver Apples, The Monks, Grateful Dead, Amon Düül II. Alright, that's enough.

She only made it in '67, that's why those aren't there (the Love ones could actually be). ;)

You're right! I was so happy to come and bother him (just kidding, haha XD) that I didn't even read what was written! So definitely at least one of the Love albums, then going from memory: Deviants (Ptoff), Cream (Disraeli Gears), and I think that Side Trips by Kaleidoscope is also from '67. Anyway, what a terrible year '67 was!!

Really shitty, yes, not to mention the Jazz records, eh, it’s been a terrible year for Jazz as well.

Now someone will surely tell me to fuck off or better yet to shoot me; The Beatles are the most overrated band in history. Traffic has never driven me crazy; I have the album John Barleycorn Must Die, which everyone considers their best, but I don't like it even a little. For me, among all the prog bands of the '70s, there were better choices, but this is a matter of taste, I realize. That's it, I'm done, bye.

Mild, don’t be fooled; this is a ranking of albums only from 1967. Anyway, I agree about the Beatles, much less about John Barleycorn Must Die, which I like a lot.

Mild, I don't understand, but are you referring to this ranking? This is from 1967, so there are no strictly prog bands, rather proto prog (what a complication). As for the Beatles, you shouldn't judge them the same way you judge the Crimson; the beetles have been one of the fundamental bands of all time, there’s no debate. Regarding Barleycorn, I partially agree with you; I prefer Mr. Fantasy, which is more original and psychedelic.

I'm discussing this ranking because you've included a band like Traffic, which for me is also prog as well as psychedelic. A better group could have been chosen in that genre, but I repeat, it's a matter of tastes.

Mild, with all due affection, but I think you might be a bit slow on the uptake.

Listen, I went to eat, now I understand, I’m a bit older, misled since the ranking said best rock artist of the 70s, I hadn’t noticed at the bottom only 1967.

Mild, this ranking only concerns the year 1967. Which progressive bands would you like to include from '67? :)
