Bea, even though the last albums by Megadeth really don't do anything for me. Destruction, Defiance?

For the latest Endgame is a really good work when it comes to Megadeth, Thirteen less so, not that it's bad, it's still decent. Right, I forgot about Destruction, well it will be continuously updated, I still need to add a few more groups, regarding Defiance I still need to listen to them well.

The Defiance are not that essential.. Pantera, Machine Head (except the first), and Nevermore fit in this ranking like cabbage at a picnic.

There are indeed Pantera and Machine Head, groove metal is a style very close to thrash yes, but it's undeniable that they have also done many things that are pure thrash metal. Nevermore's is a thrash metal fused with prog; as for the others, I still need to listen more closely, it's still developing, I can't just include everything right away.

And if I had to remove Pantera and Machine Head, then I would also have to remove Exhorder, but also Sepultura just like some others.

I don't believe so. The Pantera truly have never been thrash. As for Machine Head, I said: except for the first one. After that, they really can't be called thrash metal. Exhorder, despite their heaviness, are thrash at the end of the day and can't be defined otherwise. It's not the same discussion. The only band I would absolutely exclude are the Pantera. For Nevermore, a genre purist would tell you what I mentioned in the previous comment.

Anyway, I just care that you include the Razors. Honestly, I'm just bothering you because I haven't seen them. For better or for worse, they are THE thrash in my opinion. ;-)

I've thought about it, and maybe it would be better to remove the Panthers. As for the Razors, I'll dive into listening to them soon, but not before I've given them a good listen. :)
