Well, Woo, Jarmusch, Tarantino, Kitano, and Di Leo himself seem a bit low to me, but maybe they aren't in order. Melville and Polanski are present in the database, but we can't seem to include them in the rankings :/

Anyway, great ranking even though I'm not sure I would consider many of them noir directors. Personally, I would add Scorsese and Ferrara.

Yes, many are not strictly genre directors but have made one or more significant noir films.

Melville 51 makes me incredibly sad, whether they are randomly arranged or not..:-(((

  Among the truly noir directors, I would have placed him at least in the top 5...but 51st place, absolutely not :-(((
