Lately, I’ve been delving deeper into these relatively small Italian artists, and I must say I’m becoming quite passionate about them. I really appreciate the sounds and the tranquility that this album conveys. After a couple of listens, it’s inevitable to start humming along to the songs.
Contenta Tu is a mix of fresh sounds and melodies that span indie, pop, and a touch of folk. Its simplicity is exactly its strength: an album that makes you feel at home, without too many frills but with plenty of substance. The production is minimal yet well-crafted, with acoustic guitars accompanying Marco’s voice, creating an intimate and relaxing atmosphere.
One track that particularly struck me is "Cicciona." The song has a really catchy rhythm and a melody that gets stuck in your head from the very first listen. The lyrics are ironic and light-hearted, yet despite this, they manage to convey a positive message, almost like an invitation not to take oneself too seriously. It’s that song that makes you smile every time you hear it.
In short, this is an album not to be missed if you’re a fan of indie/pop (and I’d say a little bit of jazz and funky too!), but I think it could appeal to just about everyone. So give it a listen and let me know what you think! more
Outside Eric Clapton, inside Peter Green and John McVie. But the music doesn’t change; instead, it further defines the style of electric blues that will ignite millions of listeners and inspire a host of great musicians. Magnificent album. more
Eric Clapton is to electric blues what John Mayall is to a launch platform in orbit. If Clapton became God, it was largely thanks to Mayall. An essential album. more
The world is a ghetto. Funk music has the job of breaking down the barriers that confine us to this ghetto. Long live funk. more

An artist. In other words, a creator of works endowed with aesthetic value in the fields of popular and high culture. more
A cornerstone work (along with "Nausicaä" from two years earlier) on which the entire cinematography and the entire artistic thought of Master Miyazaki rests. Captivating, a work without which "Spirited Away" or "Howl's Moving Castle" could not have existed. The first ten minutes are among the most breathtaking in all of animated cinema. more
A powerful, genius film, not suitable for the more sensitive stomachs, sometimes (perhaps) a bit too in love with itself and its own horror, but it's among Lynch's peaks, just starting out (he had a few short films under his belt). A stunning black and white and a truly unforgettable protagonist. more

A strange journey through America. Lynch's most "normal" film is, perhaps, one of his most complex. In my opinion, his most beautiful. more
