Cesare Cremonini
Excellent among those he wrote are Marmellata n°25, Cercando Camilla, and IjPagliaccio, which at the time were well-directed towards the "character" Cav and now can widely be attributed for various reasons to Tajani-Bonaccini-Fassino (the first of a long list, editor's note). The other "things" from our national Cesare, listened to again today, do not excite me at all, although one must acknowledge an evolution in writing and a decent interpretative sensitivity in the covers, of which the "Popolo fattosi Massa Informe" consistently has no memory. more

Il Festival di Sanremo
For completeness, we would need the final report card of the recently vanished, Festivalz(zzz), but perhaps the users of this site didn’t need another sesquilinear avalanche of trivia and frivolities with the punctual, rare flashes of contrasting wisdom delivered at a late hour, serving only to induce yawns in the well-to-do, respectable, sycophantic audience of this Cazzillajo. more

Gene Clark
He was one of the greatest American singer-songwriters of his time. His career, from his beginnings with the Byrds to "No Other," with a fruitful collaboration with Doug Dillard in between, was nothing short of superb. The commercial failure of the aforementioned "No Other" sparked a decline that, however, never resulted in anything less than decent records. Ultimately, Clark was an extraordinary songwriter who deserves greater rediscovery today. more
WALLACE WELSH
One Band Band delivers a varied work that, starting from shoegaze roots, seeks a new path while lowering distortions. This exploration makes the album diverse and transitional. Good while waiting for further developments. more
