Quella Vecchia Locanda
My favorite Italian group (among the classics)... Great vocalist, very inspired lyrics, exceptional musicians... two masterpiece albums. The Jethro Tull made in Italy. more
The Verve
A Storm In Heaven... more
Juri Camisasca -La Finestra Dentro
One of the most beautiful records in history, an truly incredible album even though it's difficult to listen to. more
Iron Maiden
I've always preferred their first two albums (Paul Di'Anno on vocals)... With Bruce, I eventually get tired of them. more
ghali
An immense artist. The best! more
Cristiano Malgioglio
Culminating human of the UroanalMeato-Song up to his 70th, and among the first individuals to hint at a degeneration in the «ɔteon dejjam-pjɛndi Tiʒ-go-krafiʤi» (op§).
Unique ancient merit: he introduced Dori G. to Faber; unique contemporary merit: he makes me laugh much more than d(ell'atro g)i(ùdice) Panariello when I see him in T&Q. Summary: he may have been the worst pop singer-songwriter of Italian-Latin American adoption in the history of the World, but without him, Monica Setta and Liorni Viale Mazzini 14 will become a desecrated cemetery.
And 2 yes! more
La mezza luna
Yftcfuf

Yftcfuf: La mezza luna Traccia 08 in La mezza luna Album - 29 november 2011

A few ideas on the arrangement front, yet convincing in the final Crescendo, accompanying stories of immigration from the Middle East - Afghanistan and Syria first and foremost - following civil war and religious tensions. more
Fuoco nel vento
Yftcfuf

Yftcfuf: Fuoco nel vento Traccia 06 in Fuoco nel vento Album - 29 november 2011

The spark of genius is missing for it to rise to masterpiece status (it's about environmental disasters in a pseudo-indie key), but it carries enough weight without falling into this and that rhetoric. more
Il mutuo
Yftcfuf

Yftcfuf: Il mutuo Traccia 09 in Il mutuo Album - 29 november 2011

Rock sent like it hasn't been heard in years, fierce and protest-driven, wraps up an artwork that only a few chosen ones will remember in the global artistic universe. more
Anna parte
Yftcfuf

Yftcfuf: Anna parte Traccia 05 in Anna parte Album - 29 november 2011

Boring song, close to the atmosphere of Arrivano gli uomini, in some ways a filler. more
La cumbia di chi cambia
The last true valid test of Jovenotti—author of the second period, which when served to Adriano becomes a gem of songwriting excellence. more
Non so più cosa fare
Franco-Adriano-Jovenotti trio definitely avoidable, as it would have sufficed with a duet between the first two, with the third (already the author of part of the lyrics) used solely for the snare drums. Musically, it's a game similar to "Catch the Pigeon," but the lyrics are the best one could see in any duet record, right? more
Facciamo finta che sia vero
It's not a very "sung" title track, but its mix of old and new styles intrigues with each listen. more
Ti penso e cambia il mondo
A half-plagiarism at Radio or not radio by Renato Zero, where that vocalization by Morandi gets on the nerves. Adriano here is monotonous. False step. more
Non ti accorgevi di me
Beautiful, poetic, and shocking. No bullshit. more
Ian Anderson -Walk Into Light
Spectacular, divine, powerful, seductive album.
I am very much against the tide, but this album has something magical that draws me back to its notes and melodies.
I know all the songs of Jethro and Ian by heart, but these 10 songs, for me, are the best ever created not only by Ian Anderson but by a human being. more
CCCP Fedeli alla linea
The best Italian band so far. more
Vasco Rossi
One of the most chilling and embarrassing things that has ever happened to Italian music. more
Frank Zappa -Make A Jazz Noise Here
The group put together by Zappa in 1988 turned out to be a financial disaster. Musically, it was one of our creative peaks. A double live album that stands as a testament to Zappa's enormous talent. more
Burzum -Fallen
Thanks to my Rosaspina (25/12/2023) more
