The Lemon Pipers - Green Tambourine (1967) 4K

Many don’t know it, but the original lineup of the legendary Lemon Pipers included the following members [under cover]:

@[tia] on drums
@[G] on vocals/tambourine
@[Almotasim] on bass (and the bobbed hair)
@[JonatanCoe] on flamenco guitar
@[IlConte] on organ (Farfisa)

It was about time you KNEW IT!

The Deadly Snakes - There Goes Your Corpse Again

The Deadly Snakes - I Can't Sleep At Night

In a remarkable period of “welcome back, pippe” - I admit I wasn’t feeling it anymore - I listened to, (re)discovered garage bands made of soul and blood with, as per the rules, the most diverse influences from beat to punk, from psychedelia to R&B - from power pop to folk, from rockabilly to mod, even soul and even hard rock. In short, the essence of rock and roll from true beasts to the wild scream of “screw your virtuosic, lightning-fast shit and your four octaves of bullshit vocal range.” From 1990 onwards, with some revivals of old fossils, savansadir.

#garagedintorni (60/1)

At the beginning of the millennium, one of my favorite bands. Four albums all solid from garage to soul. The debut has become a classic of the genre. A couple of (s)ballads, unfortunately, I can’t find the single “some awful thing.” With this Northern atmosphere, @[Valentyna] should enjoy it, at least sometimes. A wonderful (s)ballad and an adrenaline-packed garage...

Pulp - Common People (Glastonbury 1995)

And it’s 60 for Jarvis.
Happy birthday genius

A Giant Dog - Bendover (Official Music Video)
So, shall we make a little noise or not? What is this sluggishness?

Grover Washington Jr. - Earth Tones
Discs as big as a house.

Bobo Merenda

I'm re-listening to all of Jannacci's work. Maybe I'll write about it too. Who knows.

The Only Ones - Another Girl, Another Planet (Video)
EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE, IT'S GOOD TO REFRESH THE MEMORY

L'Rain - Pet Rock (Official Video)
disco discovered in the past few days, their pop rock balancing on uneven balances is worth at least a listen.

The Deadly Snakes - Sweet Sixteen

The Deadly Snakes - Love Undone (Full Album)

During a remarkable period of “welcome back pippe” - I admit I was no longer feeling it - I listened to, (re)discovered garage bands with soul and blood, featuring, as per usual, the most diverse influences from beat to punk, from psychedelia to R&B - from power pop to folk, from rockabilly to mod, even soul and even hard rock. In short, the essence of rock 'n' roll from true beasts to the wild scream of “fuck your virtuosic and speedy bullshit scales and your fucking 4-octave vocal range”. Since 1990, with a few resurgences of old geezers, savansadir.
