Leavin' Here (Version 1)

To introduce another hero of Rocchenrolle, we need to start way back, precisely in 1962, when Scott Morgan, still in middle school, began playing and writing his first songs.

Michigan - THE USUAL HOMELAND of everything - Ann Arbor by birth and Detroit as the Sound for Scott Morgan.

Garage, R&B, Soul, Beat… with his friend Steve Correll, another Nobly unhinged character.

Covers and original songs, The Rationals scored peripheral successes but never really broke through… despite being immense.

Many singles but only one album, released long after everything had ended, in 1970… stories already told, but this one quite striking.

Gave My Love is perhaps their only “hit” on a national level, and Leavin’ Here is a splendid cover of the great track penned by Holland-Dozier-Holland…

Ah, even now Scott warms our hearts with some bands that will be featured in the lineup… oh, if they will arrive… although his name is mostly remembered with Sonic’s Rendezvous Band.
