Cuby + Blizzards - Sweet Mary (Nederbeat) | (Grolloo) 1966

Cuby + Blizzards - Richard Cory (Nederbeat) | (Grolloo) 1966

Every now and then, I dust off some Unknown Noble Band from the DECADE.

Dutch, probably the forerunners of the DUTCH SOUND or NEDERBEAT. A band with a very long history that deserves to be told. There’s a nice review over on Deb as well.

Defined synthetically as a Blues group, the influences are actually numerous, ranging from the early garage beat to hard prog, but also funk, jazz, and folk as they progressed.

If you want to listen to truly beautiful Blues pieces, you can find dozens of them—dozens, mind you… on par with Waters, Wolf, Mayall, Clapton, and the gang. HERE WE’RE ON GARAGE-BEAT DEBUTS.

Anyway, Giorgione had it out for the Ministry of Health even in less suspicious times... Alealè "And other Nazis or bastards, who knows, hiding in the Ministry of Health.
For these guys, my health counts for nothing.
What matters is counting my T4 lymphocytes a thousand times."

New album just released yesterday, "Look to the east, look to the west," and thanks to Almotasim who introduced me to them a few years ago.

Dragontears: Two Tongue Talk

Here’s LORENZONE in total psychedelic delirium.

If with my beloved BW he wrote one of the most memorable pages of garage-psych-beat-soul, here we have PURE PSYCHEDELIA... stuff from 13th, space and krauts all together, even down to those drugged-out of Acid Mother Temple… well, they were more on the experimental-noise side at otherworldly levels…

Anyway, if you’re not getting high, it’s pointless to listen to 15-20 minute fluorescent tunnels of echoes, feedback, effects, and peculiar sounds…

FOR ME A LITTLE TOO MUCH, I GET TIRED…

In short, LORENZONE is completely gone… but that was already known…

Without forgetting anyone...
I guilty forgot her compleDeb two weeks ago... A kiss to a goddess of DeB, no longer physically with us, but always in my memories as a wonderful, simple composer of emotions.
It's a shame I couldn't get to know her more.
A hug to her @[Fratellone]...

Pat Travers - Stevie
Another great one from Canada... Classy Hard!

ANNA MELATO - Vola (1974)
I find both the song and the performer remarkable. In fact, the performer is truly fantastic. I also love the very dry sound and her delivery. O' miracle of music: every time you think you've heard everything that could interest you, bam! :-)
